02/27/16 – I serviced this ProForm 750CS treadmill in Buxton, Maine this morning. The treadmill was submerged previously in about 6″ of water due to a flooded based. The treadmill has sat for quite some time afterwards. Due to rusted roller bearings the treadmill would no longer run.
I got the rollers freed up, and got them to roll, and the treadmill to run. I lubed the belt and deck, and checked everything else over. The rear roller needs to be replaced (on order) due to the rusted bearings.
03/03/16 – New rear roller installed (see pics). It is very important to oil the rear roller adjustment bolts so that they do not rust and makes them easier to adjust as well.
Its important to also inspect one-piece end cap on this model type. The adjustment bolts seat against the plastic end cap which often cracks or breaks. If it does, the end cap needs to be replaced.
